WINE #1 - 2018 Pra Soave Classico ‘Otto’

“SWAH-VAY” is a white wine from Veneto, which is in Northern Italy. Garganega is the grape of Soave.
See: Pale yellow-green
Smell: Lemon, grass, steel, salt,
Taste: Light-bodied white wine; bright, green, a little nutty, salty, lemony, lots of acidity! Subtle sweetness like honeydew melon. This is definitely a wine you share with family over a big seafood dinner.
PAIRS WELL WITH: Italian seafood - gnocchi and clams; scallops and risotto; squid ink linguine; asparagus,
WINE #2 - 2015 Franco Molino Langhe Nebbiolo
RETAIL: $19.99
Also from Northern Italy (Piedmont), Nebbiolo is considered one of the top wines of Italy. This bottle is 100 percent Nebbiolo grapes.
See: medium garnet
Smell: wet bark, spice (clove? pepper?), black plum, black cherry
Taste: full-bodied red wine; high tannins, high acidity, warm and with a long, dusty finish.
PAIRS WELL WITH: red-sauce pasta, pizzas, lamb, and barbecue.
